About the Conference
In the academic landscape of Bangladesh University of Professionals, BUPIMUN stands as a distinguished platform for diplomacy, leadership and intellectual engagement.
More than a simulation of the United Nations, BUPIMUN gives participants a practical experience of international affairs. Through committee sessions, moderated debate, negotiation and resolution drafting, delegates build real skills in public speaking, critical thinking, research, teamwork and leadership.

Tariff walls are rising, supply chains are being redrawn along political lines, and the post-war consensus on open markets is under strain from the very states that built it. BUPIMUN 2026 asks delegates to negotiate inside that tension.
Across twelve committees — from the Security Council to the Jatiya Sangsad — delegates will confront how economic self-interest reshapes security, trade, human rights, climate policy and the machinery of multilateralism itself.

FAQ
No. Several committees — UNEP, SOCHUM and UNCSW — are marked beginner friendly and are chaired with first-time delegates in mind. Study guides and a delegate handbook are shared with every registrant ahead of the conference.
Any currently enrolled university student, from Bangladesh or abroad. BUPIMUN 2026 expects 450 delegates from 30+ universities, with a dedicated registration track for international delegates.
A head delegate registers the delegation, pays once for the whole group at the discounted per-head rate, then adds members from the delegation dashboard. A minimum of five delegates is required, and only registered delegations compete for the ৳50,000 Best Delegation prize.
Payment is made by bKash or Nagad to the official conference number. After paying, enter your transaction ID and upload the payment screenshot in your dashboard. The organising team verifies it manually — your registration status updates to Confirmed once verified, usually within 48 hours.
You submit three committee preferences and your portfolio preferences during registration. Allocation is decided by the Secretariat based on experience and availability, and is released on 08 October 2026.
Registration fees are non-refundable once allocation has been released. Before that date, refund requests are reviewed case by case by the Secretariat.
Ambassadors promote BUPIMUN 2026 at their own university and receive a personal referral code. Performance is tracked through registrations made with that code, and the top ambassadors share a ৳30,000 prize pool, plus a certificate and recommendation letter.
The conference is non-residential. Guidance on nearby accommodation is provided to out-of-city and international delegates on request, and visa invitation letters are issued to confirmed international registrants.
